NEXO is a proudly South African–founded, 100% black-owned and 50% woman-owned business, built with a strong focus on inclusivity, innovation, and practical problem-solving. Born out of real challenges experienced in retail, operations, and business management, NEXO was created to help businesses simplify operations, gain clarity through data, and grow with confidence — using a system designed to evolve alongside them.
The Challenge
Like many business owners, we found ourselves relying on multiple disconnected systems to run a single business — separate tools for point of sale, inventory, payments, reporting, customers, and staff. This fragmentation led to inefficiencies, duplicated work, limited visibility, and unnecessary operational complexity.
We also identified a critical gap in the market: a lack of flexibility. Many platforms offered rigid, one-size-fits-all solutions that failed to support the unique operational structures, reporting requirements, and data needs of different businesses.
